Are the package prices final?
They are starting prices for the defined scope. You receive a written proposal confirming the project price before work begins.
Why can’t I buy a website instantly?
A short review helps prevent the wrong purchase and makes page scope, integrations, and third-party costs visible.
What can increase the price?
More pages, custom functionality, extensive content work, advanced integrations, premium assets, and outside platform costs.
Content and revisions
What if I do not have website copy?
Assisted copy organization is included in the core packages. Extensive copywriting may require additional scope.
Can you provide photos?
We can recommend stock, generated placeholder, or custom photography options. Usage rights and any outside cost are confirmed first.
What counts as a revision?
One organized list of reasonable changes to the prepared direction. A new direction or major scope change is separate work.
Ownership and access
Do I own the website?
You keep the finished website and appropriate account access, subject to third-party licenses and platform terms.
Who owns the domain?
The domain should be registered in the customer’s name. Modern Updates can assist with setup or transfer.
Can I move the website?
Yes, to compatible hosting. Platform-specific features and licensed tools may affect what transfers.
Hosting and ongoing help
Do I have to use Modern Updates hosting?
No. Managed hosting is available, but the website is not intentionally locked to it.
What is the difference between hosting and Website Care?
Hosting keeps the site available online. Website Care covers maintenance checks and limited routine update help.
How do cancellations work?
Recurring services follow the applicable service terms. A cancellation overview will be provided before purchase.
Platforms and support
Do you work with WordPress and Shopify?
Yes, for scoped theme configuration, styling, limited setup, troubleshooting, and integrations. Complex builds receive a custom quote.
Can you fix a website built by someone else?
Often, but access, platform health, and the existing setup must be reviewed before scope is confirmed.
Do you guarantee search rankings or sales?
No. The service can improve clarity, technical foundations, and visibility work, but specific business results are not guaranteed.
